A good option to clear your mind and relax after a busy working day is to find some After Work meetings that some people of the community host.
In this occasion we were invited to the After Work de Lord Verlaine meeting that takes place every once and then in a public bar in Buenos Aires City downtown. This time Sr Mariano was in charge of the organization and logistics. He choose a very comfortable bar in the area of San Telmo themed as an old garage from first years of 20th century that gave it a very local and vintage ambiance.
Late that night we took the suspension points that the host shared with us to use, some of the old decoration columns, and we let once again our ropes flow in a collective way and as the Shibari Attack group.
Shibari Attack is a group of artists that celebrate their passion for shibari by enhancing the spontaneity, the unexpected and surprising moments where they are able to create rope art in the blink of an eye in creative and unusual places. All these is built in a quick and vertiginous way, in such a manner that graphical testimonies are not always able to portrait it’s simple but yet intricate, fast but paused and ephemeral adrenaline rush. Due to the collective nature and joint action that Shibari Attack implies, it drives individual protagonism (both from riggers, models, photographers, and artists in general) to fade leaving place for the creativity beauty to shine from the group as a whole.
